The setting
A wooded south-facing valley between 1100 m and 1800 m, framed by the Saulire and Mont Vallon.
Méribel began as a project in 1935; the first buildings went up in 1938 and the valley developed after the war around one idea — a Méribel style of stone and timber, gabled roofs covered in slate, and architecture set into the landscape. The valley sits between the Courchevel and Belleville valleys within the Three Valleys lift network: La Saulire is the link towards Courchevel, and the Tougnète sector leads towards Les Menuires, subject to the day's openings. Our residences are spread through the Méribel valley, chosen for quiet streets, mature pine forest and ease of access to the lifts.

Choosing your sector
Méribel is a valley of distinct hamlets rather than a single centre, and the sector you choose shapes your mornings more than anything else.
- Méribel Centre puts the Saulire Express departure and the shops within walking reach.
- Méribel-Mottaret sits highest in the valley, at the foot of the Pas du Lac departure.
- Méribel Village keeps the scale of a hamlet within the same valley, with its own shops and lift access onto the ski area, subject to openings.
- Les Allues, lower in the valley, is the most residential address and is linked to the rest of the valley by the free Méribus shuttles.
Ski access and links
Lifts, pistes and shuttles run according to official seasonal openings and timetables; check the resort information before setting out.
- From Méribel Centre, Saulire Express 1 followed by Saulire Express 2 reaches the top of La Saulire and the link across to Courchevel, subject to openings.
- From Méribel-Mottaret, Pas du Lac 1 followed by Pas du Lac 2 also reaches La Saulire, subject to openings.
- Les 3 Vallées announce 600 km of linked pistes across the network reached from the valley.

Getting around without a car
A stay here works comfortably car-free, provided you plan around the published shuttle timetable.

Arriving by train
Rail is a genuinely practical arrival for the valley.
