One ski area, different ways to spend the week
A gentle first morning to find your feet. Another day spent exploring a different valley. Les 3 Vallées connects 600 kilometres of pistes across its resorts, giving you the freedom to change the scenery without changing where you stay.
That variety becomes particularly useful when travelling together. Some guests want an early start and a full day exploring; others prefer a lesson and a long lunch. Choosing Les 3 Vallées means you can shape different days and still return to the same home each evening.
Connections depend on lift openings and the day’s conditions. Match routes to the group’s ability and allow time to return before lifts close. A connected ski area does not mean every journey suits every skier.
Travel together, ski at your own pace
You do not need to ski at the same level to enjoy a holiday together. The area has dedicated learning spaces and runs of varying difficulty. For a beginner, a convenient meeting point for lessons may matter more than the extent of the terrain covered by a lift pass.
Before booking, consider everyone’s ability, the children’s ages and preferred lesson times. Plan morning journeys around those details. The widest lift pass is not automatically the right choice for each guest: compare official options against the days you actually intend to ski.
The mountain is more than a day on the slopes
A table where the day’s stories are shared, a village stroll, a book with a mountain view: the hours away from skiing matter too. Guests who ski little, or not at all, should be able to picture their own enjoyable week.
The Méribel and Courchevel tourist offices list activities without skis, walks and places to unwind. Check access, opening hours and booking arrangements for your dates rather than assuming everything is available every day.
The property can be part of the holiday in its own right. At DOMA Chalet M in Méribel Les Allues, a private indoor pool, hammam and shared living spaces give returning home a different rhythm. These facilities belong to this chalet; they are not features of every DOMA residence.
Your village shapes your everyday holiday
The name of a ski area does not tell you how the morning will work. Where do you join the lifts? How do you reach lessons? Can you walk out for dinner? Those questions are answered by the address, not simply the resort.

Guest numbers are only the beginning. Bedrooms, bathrooms and additional sleeping arrangements determine how a home is shared. Several couples, a family with small children and a group of friends may need quite different layouts.

A private pool, sauna or large dining table cannot make up for unsuitable sleeping arrangements. Share the layout with your fellow travellers, allocate bedrooms and establish your essentials before choosing.
The right week and a clear budget
New Year, February school holidays and March weeks cannot be compared using a single “from” price. Look at exact dates, the accommodation total, included services and booking conditions. Then consider extras such as transfers, lessons, equipment, meals or a private chef.
The right time depends on your group: school calendars, village life, the pace of your days or the priority given to skiing. Snow and openings remain subject to actual conditions; a photograph of a chalet cannot guarantee them.
